Covid-19 Update

During this present pandemic, NZ will continually be changing between different Alert Levels. But at all alert levels, essential services like us will remain up and running.

At all Alert Levels, we will continue to offer virtual consults , i.e. telephone and video consults if applicable.  We are also doing face to face consults but all patients are being screened first, and  everyone coming in the surgery have to sign in using the NZ COVID Tracer QR codes. Please indicate your preference of virtual or face to face when booking your appointment.

We highly recommend physical distancing of 2 metres while in the waiting rooms. Wearing a face mask is strongly encouraged when outside of the home. We have hand sanitizers available as well.

During Level 3, our main sliding doors will be closed. Only patients with booked appointments will be allowed inside the surgery.  Only 1 patient per doctor or nurse at a time is allowed,  to be able to control the number of people inside the surgery at one time. Please ring us when you arrive in the carpark and wait in your car for your turn to see the doctor/nurse.

If you are unwell with any acute respiratory infection with at least one of the following symptoms: new or worsening cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, head cold, sudden loss of smell with or without fever, please let us know in advance as the doctor might need to see you in your car.

We do not do COVID swabbing, as we don’t have the right space to keep possible COVID patients separate from non-COVID patients , so we protect our well patients by asking possible COVID to go to your nearest community testing centres or designated swabbing centres. We also don’t have enough staff to be testing people as well as looking after our regular patients.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Always keep safe and well…
